JitneyEV is an innovative electric mobility company focused on advancing equitable, zero-emission transportation in underserved communities. Its work centers on electric vehicle deployment, community-based mobility solutions, EV education and workforce development, and partnerships that expand access to clean transportation. JitneyEV specializes in connecting transportation electrification with community and economic development, helping communities transition to cleaner, more affordable, and accessible mobility options.

The EV Institute serves as a platform for electric mobility education, EV infrastructure, community engagement, workforce development and entrepreneurship opportunities, and demonstration of zero-emission transportation solutions. By bringing together residents, businesses, public agencies, researchers, and industry partners, the Institute works to ensure that Bronzeville is not only prepared for the clean transportation transition but positioned to lead it—using electric mobility and emerging technologies to improve connectivity, expand economic opportunity, support community resilience, and strengthen Bronzeville as a sustainable destination and national model for equitable transportation innovation.

Bronzeville Community Development Partnership (BCDP) is leading the transformation of its headquarters at 2416 South Michigan Avenue into a model community-scale decarbonization and clean mobility hub serving the historic Bronzeville community and surrounding neighborhoods. The project will convert a legacy commercial building into a high-performance, low-carbon facility that demonstrates how equitable climate investments can preserve community assets, reduce operating costs, advance clean transportation, and create new opportunities for residents and small businesses.
